Press Release, January 8, 2018 - Angeles Toledo has over 15 years of experience in the financial sector. She has fulfilled several positions, with a focus on fixed income, private equity and investments in developing countries. In her second last position she worked at ACTIAM as fund/portfolio manager of the ASN Groenprojectenfonds.

As a result, she is very familiar with the market of green funds and green banks and knows well the Regeling Groenprojecten (arrangements for green projects), Groenverklaringen (certificates for green projects) and Rijksdienst voor Ondernemend Nederland (Netherlands Enterprise Agency). Therefore, she is highly qualified to undertake the role of fund manager Triodos Groenfonds.

Angeles holds a Master in International Finance and a Bachelor in Industrial Engineering. She has both Mexican and Dutch nationalities and lives in the Netherlands for over 20 years now.

Angeles will follow in Itske Lulof’s footsteps, who was fund manager of Triodos Groenfonds for the past seven years and who has been appointed as Director Energy & Climate at Triodos Investment Management as per 1 September 2017. In this position she will manage the business line Energy & Climate, which includes the funds Triodos Groenfonds, Triodos Renewables Europe Fund and Triodos Vastgoedfonds. As such, Itske will continue to be closely involved with Triodos Groenfonds. She will stay on as chair of the NVB council for green funds.
